First training session with the new belt tonight and I almost put it in the wash... #themorewetraintheluckierweget #bjj #jiujitsu
Yesterday morning at the 11th Jiu-Jitsu For Life Team Annual: Master 1 Middleweight Brown Belt 🥈. Thanks to my instructors and my training partners 🙏🏽 #torontobjj #torontobjjannual 📸: @djustinpandabjj
What an interesting journey it has been. I was promoted to Black Belt today by @jorgebrittobjj . The progress I've made since I arrived at Toronto BJJ amazes me and is a result of the instructors and training partners there. There are far too many people who contributed to my growth to individually thank here, but I must thank @rodmunduruca , @therealdanielcobb , @bjjalpha , and @milekrnic . Everyone I train with in Manitoba, thank you. I've learned an unimaginable amount of technique, skill, and fortitude from all my training partners at Toronto BJJ and in the Jiu-Jitsu For Life Team, and especially from every instructor there, and I thank you all. Still, the most significant impact on the development of my jiu-jitsu over the last almost four years has been without a doubt due to @mikezaniewskibjj , especially to @msheehanjj , and hands-down to Jorge Britto. Jorge completely altered how I think about fighting, competing, and martial arts: thank you. I'm so grateful for everyone, thank you all again, and to those who think I should have mentioned them but didn't: thank you too. 📸: @joseph_santos_photo #themorewetraintheluckierweget #bjj #jiujitsu #torontobjj
Great homily last night. #orthodoxchristianity #saints

I was blessed to celebrate the Divine Liturgy yesterday morning with @fr.constantinos at Metamorphosis Greek Orthodox School. The kids had some good questions for Fr. Constantine after Liturgy, glad I wasn’t the one who had to answer them! One thing we all need to keep in mind is that the best Christian education we can give our youth begins in our homes. “It is right, therefore, that we not just be called Christians, but that we actually be Christians.” -St. Ignatius, Epistle to the Magnesians 4:1 #orthodoxchristianity

Happy Hallowe’en! A great Canadian tradition that gets debated among Christians. Whatever you do tonight, have fun, stay safe, and say your prayers before bed. #halloween #canadianhalloween #canadianholidays #mementomori
First vespers as a priest. Vespers has always been one of my favourite services of the Church, and the years of Saturday night Vespers at St. Demetrios in Winnipeg without a doubt helped me not only in understanding the Liturgical cycle of our Faith, but also in my formation as a Christian. #vespers #orthodoxchristianity 📷: @michael_skol1
